We are in Spain! Found a camping site in Barcelona for tonight and tomorrow to celebrate New Year's Eve. Can't wait to shower and do laundry! (After boondocking in parking lots and "Aires" - essentially roadside rest stops - in France for several days, anything with real showers and toilets feels like a palace!) Last day here. We are going to the caves this morning and then having paella for lunch, so keen to finally have some traditional Spanish food. Last night dinner was quite good, we went to a restaurant and had muscles which were so yum! Also some fish soup which was strange but good. It's sunny here today and looks like a beautiful day. Let's see how the day pans out ...

... to walk down to the beach, which was about a 49 minute intense walk, so good. Reminded me of being in Australia. Once we got to the beach, we relaxed a bit and took photos like true tourists. The walk back was slow, I was racing ahead as I was super thirsty, but kids being kids slowed down this process. We had a few drinks once we got back to the lighthouse, this was good! I'm pretty into a few Spanish songs, after listening to them repeatedly on the car trips. ...

... people who are keen on plans etc, always makes it feel less lonely being in a foreign country I suppose, as we are all really in the same boat. I'm currently at the gym, I just did a 50 minute run, which was really good. I feel so much better after I work out. The gym is super nice here. The women are super confident with their bodies, walking around naked in the change rooms. Tomorrow we are off to the beach house in Callela, ...
