We made it to the airport with, what we thought, was plenty of time, however, the airport at St Thomas is small and most of the locals are pretty rude. We struggled our almost 50 lb bags up to the ticket counter and was met by the American Airlines gate keeper. We are supposed to have group 1 boarding, got group 6 and "there is no way to change it! " We are suppose to get 1 bag free ...
... of traveling, I spent years standing at a work bench dreaming of how it would be. The last week in Miami was a lot more like what I had expected. But in general, no, it's just not what I wanted, not what I expected. I do feel I've let myself down coming home. It's been exhausting emotionally and physically though. Took a 3 hour nap to remedy complete lack of sleep--no shut-eye on the plane.
Still a bit tired, but ability to function well enough has returned.

We found our hotel called Eva on Miami Beach and checked in. After settling into our room, we went for a walk to the beach and dipped our feet in the water. It was so warm!
We then walked back to the Main Street and found a grocery store to get some breakfast stuff and water. As Suz wasn't feeling the best, we pretty much headed back to the hotel room and watched tv in bed.
Suz crashed at about 8.30pm while Gav stayed up longer and had Pringles and beer for dinner!
