... in a pool, before heading out to the bay in the afternoon. Scuba diving, for those who haven`t done it, comes highly recommended: we saw an array of catfish, electric blue and orange fish, a few eels, lionfish, lots of cool stuff, even though the visibility was at times limited.
Unfortunately the journey home was less fun: it started badly when Gabe, his head still full of salt water and slightly dizzy after the pressure changes, got car sick and vomited. It got worse when we ...

... back here again. On the other side we didn't go up the cable car because I'm not great on heights so after a picnic sitting at the other end of the lake we got the boat back again. However I was really pleased with our decision that we'd seen enough of Tokyo in a single day and we should come out and try and see Mount Fuji. Evelyn gave me a good tip on a nice supermarket just a short walk and along the waterfront. It took me less than 10 minutes to get to the shop and it was a very luxurious one. They had apples packed in plastic and in styrofoam to prevent them ...

Time to soak!

... was nearly zero. After about half an hour i exited the train in Ito. Ito is a small coastal town on the Izu peninsula. I had planned this town as a place to get some rest before going to Tokyo and that turned out to be a good choice. The town has a lot of so called Onsens, natural hot spring baths. Although it's not a bath as we know it where you get to wash yourself. The bath is for soaking and you have to wash yourself thoroughly before getting into the bath. The bath itself ...
