Tried to take the ferry a couple of days early but the charge was ridiculous so here we are still! Did an excellent shop in Auchan, then found a brilliant are at Les Erables for the night. A super long walk yesterday was flowed by a quiet and peaceful night. Now 'enjoying' a coffee and the wifi and back to the same aire for the night with an early ferry ...

We left the Campanile Hotel in Lens after a pretty poor stay, from the poor customer service to the two little kids who kept running up and down the balcony until late at night. They might have been little but they sounded like a heard of buffalo stampeding above us.

According to the sat nav, it was a 60 mile ride to Adinkerke for some supplies and Tina's addiction to chocolate.

... through "customs" and all that jazz, and were ushered onto "The Pride of Canterbury" - don't get me started on the joy that this brought Hannah - she is a one eyed Cantab after all.
