... of flooding was such that we were not happy to try and drive through the heavy floods to get to the camp. So we knew that there was a site at Equihen-plage. We followed signs and they took us to an aire - just a stopping place with gravel and a water dump and fresh water.
We settled down and let the storm blow over.

... br> Used the ACSI card to get a pitch, 2 showers and electric fo 14 euros.
Made our way to the allotted pitch. Drove on and then couldn't find the electric point! Super bloke from 2 pitches up, showed us where the electric point was and suggested that we abandon the pich for one closer to the power. Which we did of course!

The shop is closed, the restaurants serves a very limited menu, with healthy food stuffs like
sausages, chips, mushy peas, and mash potatoes. These culinary highlights can be complemented by a lukewarm drink of your own liking, like coke or orange juice.

Still beats swimming, though, so mustn't grumble! And my car has been parked right at the front of the car deck, so mine is the first car to get off the ship, or down with it ...

... br> Anna and I took a walk through the dunes near Ambleteuse on a gorgeous sunny day which went through a small forest and finished by the beach. On the second Friday night, Les hommes, went to a basketball match in neighboring Boulogne sur mer.
The teams are in the second division but the atmosphere was incredible with people playing almost non-stop on instruments.

... by a token which lasts for 8 minutes. The disabled facilities are a large wet room which is a little chilly come late September. There are facilities for Motorhomes as well as Caravans and tents, the site also offers Tepees for those who want the Wild West experience too. We stayed two nights here and found it a quite busy place with outfits coming and going for Ferries at Calais.
