    The continuing story

If you want to follow our travels from July onwards, you will need to follow part two of the blog as this finishes on 30th June. The reason for this is because we publish the blog in book form for our own records. We find this is a much better way than trying to look at hundreds of photos. To make a book of all 8 months of travel would be difficult and too big for the publishers to handle. So look out for part two. Click this link http://www.travelpod.com/travel-blog/ge ...

Rob had been shopping this morning too and found some pate en crout! My ...

I'm walking from Millau to L'Hospitalet-du-Larzac. It's quite a climb but I really enjoy it. I don't feel like hitchhiking. There's really not much going on. As I reach L'Hospitalet-du-Larzac, I put my hammock up again. The weather is nice and I hope to get used to the hammock ...

    Red marble fireplace

... one opened and we are starving. We are seated at a tiny table by a smiling lady and we learn it is her son who is the chef and he works with precision at his kitchen in the front of the restaurant. I am fascinated by the way he makes the pizza base so quickly and so perfectly round each time. He does not use a base of tomato sauce like we had in Italy last year. But drizzles fresh cream on ...
