So............our mates have returned to Blighty to resume normal life. Ferry back for us in a week or so, we are wending our way north - soaking up good things. France is full of good things.......a superb country - oft over-looked by English folk. It's different here away from the high mountains......but stunningly beautiful........and hilly if you ride a bike!

And my old family friend Aunty Barbara delivers 2nd to none hospitality!!

    Interesting day.

Food was ...

... Scrumptious! Home then to Castel Grand Rue to pack our bags (which seem to be getting heavier) in preparation for our fast train trip to Paris tomorrow. Looking forward to Paris! Then off for a farewell drink at Cafe de la Poste where the boys are now greeted like locals by the haute! It's been an unforgettable week in Olonzac. Au revoir from ...

... looking over the pool to the Black Mountains. Katherine showed us through her cellars and gave a great insight to the wine making process. We then had some nibbles whilst tasting the range of delicious wines made at this organic winery. Even Roddy appeared to appreciate the wines on offer - we'll make a wine connoisseur out of him yet!! Off then for coffee (beer for boys) & a look around ...
