The boat has two double rooms, both with ensuites, so we are well catered for. There is a hugh kitchen dining area, which we never use as we are always upstairs enjoying the outdoors on the deck, and the extreme heat makes it unbearable down in the boat during the day. There is air conditioning, but with all the windows that slant, its hardly worth while putting it on, ...

After an interesting nights sleep (the water storage tank is at the front of the boat we our cabin in so we heard sloshing water all night, oh well) we're up for brekky that the Dennets have procured. At Marvin's request we made contact with Frederique and Denis and today we ...

So it has been a few days since our last update.  After arriving back in France we stayed for 4 nights at the Chateau Canet near Rustiques.  Our favourite accomodation so far. Walked through the property, swam in the pool and played lots of tennis.  Also had a great wine tour from the owners.  The Chateau dates to the 12th C. and the owners are from Belgium but really take pride in the history and consider themselves caretakers.  Also they make some pretty good ...

... locally grown and bought from the market, boulangerie or from local suppliers. A couple of days ago, for instance,  we were out on a walk around a mountain village perched on the hillside overlooking a spectacular gorge and we found a lovely restaurant serving coffee and pizzas. I offered to buy us some for lunch but Alison said I could get some coffees but she had something sorted out back at the house. Somewhere in this space I'll put ...
