    ... 4:30 and we knew that there was still another four hours or so to go. So we then went hunting for seats. Sue got one immediately and Barbara found a step at one side to sit on for a further hour and a half.     ... to be outside because I worked up a sweat just going around the 1km or so just twice. Mr. Tamura said it wasn't a very good day for cross country skiing because it was a little warm, but I am glad I know where it is and can go back for the next month. Also worth mentioning is that the whole thing is free and is provided by the city hall; Boots, skis, poles and even gloves if you need them.

    ... and was jumping up and down. Her friends were clapping. The boys were laughing. The teacher was smiling at me and nodding (random). She wouldn’t stop and was just looking at me, but when I looked she quickly looked away and then blushed loads. Awwwwwww.

    ... was still running and pressure was building up in the ears, which was very painful. Chris left on Sunday for a conference and I was on my own. Sarah had already gotten over the cold so now I was in unchartered waters.

    ... the service we ate lunch with them as usual and then headed home so I could catch up on our vacation laundry.
    Sunday was the day the typhoon hit the main island and we saw the news footage of the damage there.
