    ... our first snow storm. It was just a light constant fall until later in the evening when we actually had thunder snow and blizzard like conditions. At some points we couldn't even see the apartment lights from across the tennis courts. Chris decided we should walk in such horrible conditions to celebrate our first big snow storm but luckily it had died down by the time we got out! We were pretty amazed that drivers don't seem to care that the streets aren't cleared ...

    ... bills because I`ve forgotten my insurance card. Now I`m out of money and can`t afford to buy the actual meds. So I have to limp down the stairs slower than an old man with a cane (keep reading) and find a post office a couple of blocks away. Money in hand I head back up the stairs and my leg is cramping by this point. I can literally feel the blood being pumped to it and then stopping in the location of the cyst.

    ... young comic relief. Well, at least for now. I think we also gained respect amongst the rest of the group as well. We had a few errands to run, such as getting cash, so our sightseeing revolved around that. Along the way we saw Sapporo's expansive underground shopping network, some happening bar streets, and just gained a better idea for this entirely new culture. We also went up their TV Tower to get an aerial view of the city. Indeed the city did stretch quite a ways. ...
