... we don't know how far we will walk in a given day, we need to make sure each of our potential end points has sufficient room options available. Also, we now realize that walking as early as we do, cuts out some options for rest stops with facilities and food, and we need to make better decisions than we made today about when to stop. Speaking of walking early, we evolved into this practice when weather forecasts of sunny and 90 degree days caused us ...

Very cold morning with a bit of a breeze blowing in from the west but once again dry. Fabulous walking weather and also easy terrain with a gradual incline over 6.5km, through rich wheat growing hills up to Grañón. We passed the only ...

... and hopefully they'll be better by tomorrow. I think I may have the start of a blister on my right heel, but I had something similar last year and it never turned into anything. I'm hoping for that this time too! So, today, in all I did about 23km or close to 15 miles.

I'm staying at an alburge and hooked up to their wee fee! When the guy checked me in, he asked me where near Miami I was from, "I'll know where it is, I lived in Pompano". When I ...
