... Eventually got up as i knew it would be hot and planned to walk 32 kms. Stopped for breakfast at Najera at a riverside cafe for my chocolate pastry & Cafe con Leche. Walking with two other girls so at times the conversation took thoughts away from the plodding along what would normally be beautiful scenery but was just too hot to appreciate it. ... We arrived in town at the same time as three walking Pilgrims from Red Deer. There were a father-son-son combo. Turns out today was the father's 50th birthday and they were excited to make the day memorable. Foreshadowing???
