... to someone. Eventually I decided to try get some. They were friendly and inviting, but once I went down to pour the wine I was drenched by everyone around me! We decided to see what was at the top of the hill, which also provided a good way to warm up. There was a cool look out point and statue. Thankfully due to the language barrier with most people, not too many people can ask the age old 'why' we're doing the camino. Its quite a relief. On the way up I couldn't help but remember the story my parents used to read be about the Tortise and the Hare. "Slow and steady wins the race". Perhaps that will be the mantra for the day, or perhaps for the Camino. Slow and steady.

We have another day of hills, and D commented that it would be mucho bueno if the entire country had a 1-2% ...

... am building up my stamina because I think we will make it to the "A" event finals this year.

Tina's mother sent her a mantra for day. "Ich bin kein korper. Ich bin frei. Denn ich bin nach wie vor, wie GOTT mich shuf".

Inspirational and appropriate for the Camino. I feel a bit more like other country lyrics tonight though - " I've always been crazy, it keeps me from going insane..."
