      ... off at the farmers market. We stocked up on fresh fruit and veg, and even found a brewery that did ales....how Ive missed ale, dont get me wrong Ive had to supplement the urge with various rums, but that ale was good infact I took a few bottles back to the hostel, for the last few evenings.

      The lovely little colonial village looked lovelier in the sunshine this morning – just time for a quick coffee before this morning's bus station scramble.

      Supposedly some buses to depart at 8am but given the road from Cucuta, I was not optimistic of a timely arrival, so crumbled and took the hugely expensive (10) porpuesto ...

The kids played hide and seek among the hammocks and turtles while the adults cooked and drank wine for the two days we were at Hostal Tinto together.
