... Liechtenstein we stopped in Vaduz to admire the royal castle, before driving on to Triesenberg. From there we went to the end of the road where we found a new ski resort at Malbun. Then we retraced our route to Vaduz and crossed into Austria where we stayed in Feldkirch. We stayed in a hostel in a 700 year old building. We walked into the old city to have a look around. It was nice, a good castle, nice old buildings hanging on for dear life on ...

On Sunday we hopped in the car and headed for Hamburg. Made it out of Boppard just in time, as we were told that the two highways along the Rhine heading in the direction we wanted to go were going to be shut down for a "Bike Day" event. Whew!

It was a long drive. For whatever reason, German authorities have decided that they need to build big walls, or plant solid thickets of trees along ...

As we approached the border the speed limit went progressively down from 120 to 30 in 20 kph increments, we were expecting to be stopped and searched but then it was 110 kph again, who knows ...

... all of the important buildings and drove us around the lake. Apparently Hamburg is the second richest city, after London, which is shocking since we are staying in a shithole. But we drive by some sick mansions. Reminded me of Newport harbor. The city was surprisingly beautiful. We probably would've stayed longer if we did more research and booked a nicer hotel in a nicer area in advance. Oh well. We hop off the bus at the Town Hall which is ...

    Lufthansa technic

Went to see where they repair. Lufthansa and customer plans. Couldn't take pictures inside, but neat facility. Got up close to 747 being overhauled. Saw two 747 for a middle Easter rich guy, being outfitted. In all a cost of about a billion dollars. Enjoyed some free time in Hamburg Olster Lake. Rode on a solar powered ...
