    ... speed-record-breaking fall and wind up, dizzy as hell but with more of a manageable two day limp. I take the limp over the mobile scooter any day.

    ... so we thought ….. Soden’s! I think most people who know us would agree that eating at the pub was a fitting welcome to our family so we were really happy to do (almost) the same tonight. Although happy was not how we felt about it being our last meal together :(

    Another sleep in for us again, so another morning having a late breakfast with Annette. We eventually got ourselves organised enough to leave the house so we headed into town on the train to visit Miniature World. I must admit I really didn't think that I would enjoy it but was happy to go as I knew the kids would find it fun …. but it was great.     ... 8217;t always feel safe. I wish our drinking culture was more like the Europeans, where they are often seen casually drinking on the streets but it isn’t in a ‘going out to get smashed’ kind of way. I’m sure that binge drinking happens over here as well but there certainly seems to be more of a balance with a more healthy way of drinking. Perhaps I am just getting old and don’t see the good side back home!!
