Our flight out of Vancouver was delayed which meant that we only had 25 minutes in Toronto to transfer. It is a bit disconcerting to hear your names being called out over the PA System. Thankfully we are travelling only with carry-ons. Next stop Frankfurt with a delayed transfer to Hamburg. Arrived safely despite the delays and we took the train …

Some days one of the kids have sports for an hour after school, which means that I have to come at 4 to get one and wait for the other until 5. I'm not quite sure when we get home to be honest. Every day is very different. Some days we'll take the train to a stop by Jutta's work where she'll pick us up between 5:30 & 6. Other days Rüdiger might pick ...

Today was the first day that I have the kids by myself since both parents are out of town until Thursday. I would say that this is definitely the test week! This morning I woke up at 6am like I do every day and headed upstairs at 6:30. To my surprise, the kiddos were walking down the stairs at the exact same time. All dressed and ready to go! Very shocked. I thought I'd have a hard time waking Henri ...

... of flowers and some bread and heaps of fruits! The main reason why we decided to go is because I really wanted a plant for my room. It's pretty amazing the way that they sell things there. It's almost auctioneer style. I'll be attaching a video soon! :] I got, not only one, but two HUGE plants! One of them is as tall as I am. Pictures will be on here of those as well. We also got 10 packages of strawberries, some orchids, and some veggies. Very successful day! ...
