    We woke up early. It was so hard! I wanted to stay in a comfy bed for another 30 minutes. :) We got ready, took a bus and in city centre by 9am. First thing first, we visited the statue of our beloved Woody Allen. He filmed "Vicky, Christina Barcelona" here in Oviedo and apparently was very fond of this city. Oviedo is full of statues and sculptures and this is one of them scattered around.

    We drove the road towards Llanes. On the way, we visited a small cave, Cueva del Queso Cabrales (goat cheese cave) in Arenas de Cabrales where they explained how people there make cheese in the cave.

    Llanes is a small Mediaval port town with some beaches. Lovely looking sleepy town. It must be much livelier in summer. ...

    ... Lolly shop. Those crazy kids thought they could buy up half the shop while we were distracted talking. Lucky Clint caught them before they paid. Andrew wasn't quick enough.
    We then went for churros. It is a very Spanish thing to do around 6pm. They taste amazing. We are late, it is 8:30pm. Take it from me, they do not digest well at that hour of the night. I woke during the night & felt so full & disgusting. Should have listened to Leana on that ...

    ... when they were trying to rebuild the church. So there wasn't too much to see there but the remains were still interesting. There was a skeleton in the middle of all of it though.. Ha.
