We drove out of Portugal along the coast to the North-west corner of Spain before heading along the north coast and stopping for the night in the seaside town of Gijon. Not much to report, we went for a wander along the shore and checked out the city before grabbing a feed and hitting the pillow around ...

I checked the internet to be certain that I was doing it correctly before ...

... as with cats like to perch up high so there were also some nests in the grass and other convenient places. I realised I had never seen seagull chicks before. totally unremarkable compared with other baby birds buy interesting none the less. We had some Kiwis staying with us in the small apartments so someone new to chat to over drinks and dinner. They were managing to drive vast distances and double back as they went places on a whim. Not quite how we are doing it. ...

Today a group of us returned from our trip to the Picos de Europa, in the northern coast
of Spain. The Picos de Europa is a
national park located right next to the beach, with amazing cliffs and lots of
wildflowers growing. There, you can find huge mountains and the most beautiful
landscape. In order to get to the national park, we rented a car and drove for
5 hours on Sunday the 31st of May. If you like road trips, this is ...
