A great hotel in the city. While we are checking in we are joined by Ross and Sharon who have been here for a day already after their trip through Morocco and Majorca. A quick drink is called for before we clean up and head into town (old city) for an evening of Tapas and Cerveza. Tuesday night - 10 pm and ...

        ... far.

The next morning after riding the train back to collect our car from one town over, we headed Southwest towards Lake Geneva and the little town of Lausanne. Having been excellent customers of even since learning about their loyalty program which gives you a free night every ten nights you book through them, we had finally earned ourselves a free hotel room so we went ahead and splurged on a “lake view” room at a hotel right on the ...

... br> The route to our accommodation included driving through the famous Gothard Tunnel, 17 kms long... did seem a long way. By early evening and in slight drizzle we arrived at our hotel (the oldest of the trip) in Fluelen on Lake Lucerne - no complaints about the location or view at breakfast! Boy is Switzerland expensive...
