    One of the best day during our trip in Germany!

Since it was a holding center used to house Jews until they were sent on to other camps it did not have a lot of the same features places like Auchwitz or Dachau would have. Honestly, if you just strolled around the town you would never know what had happened there.

    ... Rock and if one got ahead of the other we would yell out "Miranda... Miranda...". It was funny at the time if you've seen the movie.
    It took three trains to reach this little town on the edge of the national park from Prague and I'm so glad we left early.

    ... people died, but not from being sent to the gas chamber or anything like that. In Terezin, people died because of being worked to death or for lack of food/sanitary conditions/medical care. Most the the rooms we toured were prison rooms. There were, isolation cells meant for one person, and they used to cram in 12. In the larger prison rooms (that look like creepy summer camp dorm rooms) they would cram in hundreds more than capacity. ...
