Dinner was at an Argentinian steakhouse. The place was pretty cool. Live music, dancers, the menus were on iPads, which took some of my fellow diners a few minutes to figure out! I had filet, although the $225 Kobe steak did look pretty tasty!As most meals here, we lingered over the good food and good company. After dinner we walked over to the Charles Bridge for some air and then headed back to the hotel for the night.

The next day, Saturday, was going to be busy because this was a long weekend, so we set off early to see one of the most popular tourist sites here, Bastei Bridge, built in 1851. We caught an old bus which wound its way inland, then we walked down the track for a huge WOW moment which continued for hours. The rock formations in this area were truly amazing. We are living the good life in one sense though, being able to go out into the garden and pick leeks, onions, garlic, tomatoes, basil, peppers etc is so much easier than tesco's and self service machines. We tried to make soup earlier and the food processor wouldn't work, so then we tried the blender and it had no bottom so I walked around for an hour carrying half a blender looking for parts for it, never found the part and used a juicer ...
... Rock and if one got ahead of the other we would yell out "Miranda... Miranda...". It was funny at the time if you've seen the movie.
It took three trains to reach this little town on the edge of the national park from Prague and I'm so glad we left early.
Lastly if you do visit I recommend stopping at the white signs to try and find the rock formations they've pointed out, like The Giant's Trousers, the owl, the cat fish and the horses head to name but a ...
... Philadelphia" which... WOW!!!! was aMAZING!!! like... hahaha, whoa! Antonio Benderez and Tom Hanks as a couple...!!! and Antonio's name was "Miguel" so all I could think of was Miguel Eugenio. But yeah, those two in love.. never would have pictured it before, hahaha. And Denzel Washington was in it, and so was the lady who was creepy in What's Eating Gilbert Grape... yeah, a great cast, and the story! yeah, really good, and a great way to end the night.
