I came to Iasi because its right on the border with Moldova and its famed for its nightlife and charming town. It use to be the capital of Moldova and also Romania so it had some serious history to it.

The road to Iasi was long and exhausting, as it was raining the whole time. We arrived there only around 2pm and still had a huge challenge ahead of us, which was finding our hotel. It turned out to be well hidden among the old communism type apartment blocks. In fact, it was one of them - turned, somehow, into a hotel of sort. ... there were fresh fruits and vegies and the smell of freshly picked watermelons and other produce were unmistakable(love it). Then we settled at Buna's place to taste some of the pastries she's made + had lunch(egg plant salad and stuffed capsicums) + talked loads about travelling. Towards late in the afternoon, Dudu + Tibi joined me at Buna's and we had a quick catch up sesh over more sweets and drinks.

... to the very air-conditioned Aldi-lookalike, which I loved. At around 5 Dudu and Tibi picked us up to take us to their apartment near Brasov (near the mountains and Sinaia, a 4.5 hour drive). We arrived at around 10 and went straight to a nearby pub and had dinner and drinks. I maybe drank too much especially as we sat in their kitchen and drank and talked and drank some more until 4ish in the morning.
I want to ask you something. You ask me for pictures and notes in my blog.
It takes me a lot of effort to bring light to my traveling for you!! ;)
So I would really appreciate your comments and feedback. So I can at least know that you watch them. Otherwise I feel like I am doing useless work ... :(
