    ... out a nice big luxury hotel to have a beer in and lord it up for an hour or two. We did exactly that at Hotel Media, just round the corner from our place. We didn't even want to think how much a room must cost there but were pretty sure that we'd need to end our trip and fly home again skint if we stayed there!

    We first drove through the very busy streets of Jakarta for an overview of the highlights. We saw the magnificent Roman Catholic Cathedral, seat of the Archbishop of Jakarta that was consecrated in 1901. Very close to this is the Istiqlal Mosque with a seating capacity of 200,000. This mosque is second largest in the word, and is only full twice a year at the end of Ramadan and during the Hutch.

Saturday we all went shopping and then cooked food at home, me and Anna bought amazing salads from a big supermarket in the area as we've been craving a decent salad for so long now!!!!     We are taking pictures during the inspection process to have some evidence for the future when the cars return.

    Our team expert Laurent (second from the left) doesn't join our team on the road but he is present to witness the customs examination to facilitate the process in the future when the cars return back to Indonesia.
