This will be a fairly short entry since Peter and I cycled by ourselves today. Barry had proposed an alternate rout which was taken by Werner, Barry, Steve, Gilles, Don, Sue, Peter and I. Not sure where mark went although Peter and I did see him later. Tom, Linda, Dave, Michael, Wayne, Lori and Mesfin did the nominal. Turns out that Barry's route had a major climb to 1250, but it was an honest 5 to 6% ...

Meanwhile, it's bloody hot and thunderstorms are in the forecast

... motorhome off the pitch which was something I knew I could do because I had got it on a few days earlier. Unfortunately it didn't work quite that well. I was given a lot of conflicting instructions and help from a very nice Dutch family as a consequence of which I managed to get myself pretty well wedged between trees. The difficulty with a motorhome is not only that it is rather long, but it is wider than a car and a lot higher and my problem was that every time ...

We arrived this afternoon after driving via Toulouse. The drive up the mountains takes two hours and is a combination of winding roads and tunnels a few times all you could see was a mountain 100 metres ahead and no obvious road until you go around a bend. Its one of the prettiest towns I've ever seen. Snow all gone but now gearing up for summer hikers. Wine 2 euro a bottle, beer 2.50 a pint.I had a few electrical problems but after an hour with ...
