... realised we weren't on the right path at all, we
weren’t even in the right valley. Not to worry, we re-planned the route and
carried on. The walk took us towards the town of Terlago and the Lago di

The walk took us through the little village of Mezzolago. It has lovely small paintings on the walls of ...

We then headed out to Maranello, stopping for a peek at Pavarotti's grave site, then arriving at the Ferrari factory. There were crowds of people about - also lots of Ferraris in the streets as well - it's a very popular tourist attraction. Sally had mentioned that they offered rides in the cars - at a cost - and as soon as we got our ...

    North to Bolzano

Today's tour was to Bolzano, close to the Austrian border. We arrived there late in the morning, stopping for a quick espresso at a truck stop - it's hard to get used to doing things the Italian Way when you have to pay for what you want first, then go and join the queue to get served! So simply getting a coffee takes quite a while, especially when the Italians are prone to barging in front of anyone!
    Bolzano is nestled in ...
