      ... braking on my bike I was still grabbing the brakes much of the way down this magical pass.

      Finally the cliffhanging section gives way to a more gentle system which makes its way through trees and forest area and gently eases its way into a massive valley between two mighty high mountains.

      Hear near the bottom I stop at a wonderful coffee shop which is hung on the edge of a cliff. The views across the valley are some of the most stunning views I have ever seen ...

      26.10.14 Left Schwangau today and drove through Austria with snow all around us and to the Waldheim Hotel in the Valle Di Casies in the heart of the Dolomites. There is snow all around us but the roads are clear. It is a really picturesque area, not much to do except admire the scenery. We checked into the Hotel and went for a long walk, the Hotel has a restaurant so we will have dinner there. Stayed in our room and played scrabble ...

      Today we began the mammoth task of packing and then saying goodbye to everyone as this was our last day in Trentino. I've decided I'm brave enough to have a crack at driving! So I did a little driving yesterday and today I drove us up the mountain to San Martino. Paul forgot to sort out his international license before we left and has been driving without it so I figure its not much different me driving :) ...

      ... into her garden to pick some apples. She was very instant that we do this! We are now traveling around with a massive bag of apples, so Daniela and I have decided we will make it a challenge to see if we can all finish them before we leave Italy! Cecilia (Daniela's sister) cooked us dinner at Daniela's house, and the boys were very happy that Igor came too. They have grown quite fond of him!
