After a very agreeable bullet train ride (400 miles in 2.5 hours including 4 stops, arriving exactly on time) we find ourselves in sunny Osaka and 25C. Got the Shinkansen bullet train to Kyoto on Sunday - great train loads of comfort and got us to Kyoto in two and half hours. But best of all we got to see Mount Fuji!!!! She is great, much bigger than expected and only a small amount of snow right at the top. Not sure if we will be able to climb yet maybe, hopefully. Unable to get accomodation i...
