Denmark can be summed up with four words: family, eat, drink, sleep! We had a great time with the Danish family and they made sure that we wouldn't be hungry for about 2 months. Today started early as we wanted to catch the ferry to the island of Aero. We rode our bikes to the nearby port city of Svenborg where the ferry leaves from. The island is about the same size as Waiheke and is very reliant on ferries. We had fantastic day exploring the island. Some of the houses are 600 yrs old which was pretty hard to get my head around. We even found a burial site that was more ...

Weather was great, traffic was light and the bike sounded good. It wasn't until somewhere south of Neumünster that I saw big black thunderclouds somewhere in the direction of Hamburg. I drove a little faster.

And that proved to be luck in disguise. I managed to avoid the rain, but more importantly I made it to the train on time. I had mistaken the Hamburg Altona station for the ...
