    ... second one held heaps of people. You will see by the photos how many were in there lol. When we reached the summit... Oh My Lord we cannot explain how beautiful if was. It was so peaceful and the day was so clear, clean and bright. It was like the sun rained down on us. Our Tour Director, Ananda, said that she had not seen such a beautiful day up at the Matterhorn before, that was expressed by the locals also.     ... day. The road through Switzerland was excellent even though the grade was as much as 19% at times. However as soon as we passed the border into Italy the road quality noticeably deteriorated to one and a half lane rough roads with no line markings, but at least there were guard rails.     The most beautiful so far! And we have a really nice apartment this time. Rather traumatic drive here though as it was our first fairly prolonged exposure on this holiday to the infamous autostrada system around Milan. Bit like midlands M6 on steroids.     ... were racers from the XCAT Powerboats which rolled into town during the day. First time they are to race on Lake Maggiore. I wonder if trials will begin tomorrow. If so, I just hope they don't start them early in the morning as they do for the Grand Prix at Albert Park.

    ... about to take off. Well, next thing, he couldn't believe his eyes and neither could the rest of our train carriage. The helicopter lifted up slowly and had a cow in a sling underneath it !!!
