... to say, we didn't swim for long! We had some nice cool melon during the morning and I also had a refreshingly cold beer. The afternoon comprised of writing a couple of missed journal entries and an amazing lunch. I went for pizza and Lisa had a Greek prawn dish. They were both very well made and tasty as anything. I think we have found a great restaurant here. After lunch we went for a short walk to the end of ...

It has all been more than amazing!
My favorite part of this trip so far, though, has been the Greek islands. Yesterday we boarded a small cruise boat from Piraeus and took a 5 hour (gross) journey to Mykonos. We arrived shortly after 10pm so we couldn't fully appreciate what was around us until the morning. Let me tell you-- it was mind-blowing. Everything looked so picturesque it felt like we were walking around a ...

Delos Island is the mythological birthplace of Apollo and his twin sister Artemis. Delos was settled more than 5000 years ago. We strolled among the ancient remnants of markets, temples, fountains and saw preserved home mosaics. It has to be an archaeologists dream. The island is devoid of vegetation and no one lives here now except the archaeologists. This outstanding preserve of antiquities is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. ...
