KL
We hopped on a plane from Phuket to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia for 2 days as our Thai visa ran out on 12th Aug. We are so glad we did! Kuala Lumpur, or KL as the locals call it, is a great city. Very modern with plenty to do. I could easily live there. We arrived late at night and had to get a bus from the airport followed by a taxi. We were very keen …

The End Is Near
We arrived in Kuala Lumpur just in time for the afternoon storm, so instead of looking for a room, we just went back to the original hotel we stayed at, Hotel China Town 2, in China Town.

We had a couple more down …

After checking in, we checked out a little of the China Town Markets outside our hotel. We found a place to eat. The woman said, "sit". We sat and had our first street restaurant meal in Malaysia and …
No time to keep a diary!!

The difference in the buses was amazing. The one which brought us into KL was the best public bus I've ever been on. Masses of leg room (I could stretch mine all the …

TravelPod Member ReviewsHotel China Town 2 Kuala Lumpur
Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay in KL. Great location on Petaling St. Crazy hectic with market stalls in the day and can be a bit difficult to find the hotel entrance. Well air conditioned, free wifi and a brilliant receptionist. Let us leave our bags there after checking out as we had a night flight. Would recommend.
