    ... leaving and the game was all but mine for the taking. All I had to do was sink the 8 ball in, I made the shot but the white ball trailed it into the pocket! It was lucky we were already leaving the hostel as we were this close to seeing some one do the pants dance.

    ... personal favorite so far is the Matthius Church. I've seen a lot of old churches but never anything quite like this. I think what really sets it apart is the multi-colored tile roof. I've just never come across that before. All around the church were conical lookout points, which I affectionately referred to as "cone-head things" to Brittany's chagrin. I think they're actually referred to as Fisherman's Bastion, and they give you an unparalleled view of the sprawling ...

    ... We made it back to the hotel damp but in one piece and headed up stairs to finish packing and make our way to the ship. We had planned on walking the short distance but decided a cab was the better option considering the weather. A 1000 forint ($5) cab ride later we were greeted by the Viking staff with champagne and were immediately shown to our cabin. We had a great lunch, a nap, orientation meeting and dinner ...

    ... which = 1.5 million visitors per year! So quite a busy wee place. (IF) when we docked in Durnstein we were next to an old model Avalon with its new name and colours. Another (IF) The abbey in Durnstein was founded in the early 1400's.
    Time to stop as they have just announced that the next day event meeting and wine tasting is to start in 5 minutes- more on that in the next blog.
