    ... fall down or lose their passports on the Princess cruises or filing paperwork for babies born abroad. The sessions ended with a discussion of the Fulbright program in Hungary specifically, including how we get paid and what paperwork we need to get filed so that we can get our extended stay permit. As one of the two families that have not yet started the process (something we have to work on this week), we were kept late going over the process.

The Great Synagogue is the second largest synagogue in the world, after one in New York, and it can hold 3000 people and still operates today.     ... it is nowhere near as old as some of the others we have seen. It was nice though, and interestingly they have the mummified right hand of St Stephen on display there, who was Hungary's first king in the late 900s. We then made our way to Chain Bridge, the first bridge across the Danube in Budapest, via a park with a temporary smaller version of the London Eye in it (for the Sziget music festival).     Next day was our longer ride of 60 km, Then a day of sight seeing in Vienna. Wouldn't you know... there is a beer festival here tonight!! We attended a concert which was absolutely incredible with beautiful music of Mozart and Strauss, We dashed back to the boat by public transport and were the last ones on board with 20 minutes to spare before the anchor was up and we were away again.
