Across the Chunnel to Paris!!!
... Sonny Bill type hit to the right shoulder by the prematurely closing metro doors. Ouch!!! She soldiered on though.
On arrival to our cute little abode for the next 2 nights, we dropped our stuff off and headed "UP" following the intimittent sign posted Basillique Sacre Cour - WOW!! Fantastic views of Paris and to one end, views of the Eiffel Tower!!!

Walk around Paris

We visited the vast Notre Dame. Quasimodo wasn't home. Then we walked for miles along the Seine to the Eiffel Tower. Stopped for a great croissant and cappuccino at an outdoor cafe. ... fancy restaraunt where a three course meal would set you back 60 Euro. And the view was absolutely amazing. Straight in front of the tower. 1st course pasta followed by garfish followed by what Brooke called “death by chocolate”. You wont get a much better view over dinner anywhere!
