... also marked with red and pink ribbons so it's nearly impossible to get lost. But the snow is very weak at some point and so i fell through quite a lot, with a brown muddy shoe as a result. I also fell flat on my face a couple of times because the snow makes the walkway very slippery. I also tripped over branches a couple of times, resulting in a few bruises.
The hike became a bit easier as i walked around laze Ozenuma, although the snow was still very frustrating ...
... pleasing, from the more expensive restaurants to the most humble of Ekiben (station snack). It's a joy just to see the plates and cups with food arranged on the table. I took my time to enjoy all the different little flavors and after finishing my dinner went back to my room to get my ipad to update my blog again. Did i mention there's no internet here whatsoever? Lights are off in about 30 minutes (8.30pm) so it's early to bed tonight. Love it! ...

The Japanese try to used everything and not waste anything. The stalks from the rice they use to make sandals and the husks to make pillow stuffing. Finally in our room on the second floor and it is simply stunning. Everything about the hotel location, design and fitout was stunning.

Dress for dinner to be served a degustation meal of traditional Japanese food. Eight courses later we are absolutely stuffed but feeling very privileged.
As the wi-fi service is not good, it is back to our heavenly room for a good sleep on large single beds.
... as they moved around, getting the chance to be very close to them. I really enjoyed watching the baby monkeys as they were really cute. They tend to stay close to their mums and liked to hitch rides around on their backs or fronts. We couldn't believe how human like they were, they have proper hands and fingers just like us. They loved to go for a swim in their little onsen and we even watched one holding his breath and staying under water for ages. We ...
