... So, now what? We carry the candles into the dining room and play backgammon by candlelight for an hour or so until the power comes back on. Pura Vida!

We make a big salad for dinner. Man, those avocados from the market are good, and the lettuce so fresh.
Jeff plays on his IPad while I keep reading. He goes off to bed and I stay up too late to finish the book. It was good and very different from the movie.

          What a nice relaxing day...

... isn't far. Along the way we notice a few areas that have 5-6 stairs down to under the street. There is a HUGE market under here. This is what we've been looking for. As we enter the market, Jeff points out that the "aisle" we are on is black concrete. We don't want to get lost down here and the black concrete is our yellow brick road. Today is moving day. We are leaving San Ramon for Heredia where we will be staying in a 2-story condo. But first, we are heading down to Butch and Margarita's. Remember that I said looking at an undeveloped lot doesn't do anything for me? Well, I was wrong! The views from their lot are gorgeous! And, the hill behind them is a protected reserve so no one can build there. Their lot is so steep, that even if someone builds in front ...

... hours. We then decided to head back to the hotel and have some chill time before we met everyone. They had like an outside lounge kind of area and we sat there for about an hour discussing each other's lives and I just find it so interesting that there are so many people out there that have the same passions and interests as you and yet they are from across the world. Not that school and college force you to make friends but I never thought I would be in a group of what ...

... reason i think lush green environments are over-rated. I am a desert rat through and through. the rain is fierce and it never stops - it comes in from the oceans on each side of the country...every single afternoon without fail...and it sucks. it's the kind of rain that makes you think you have holes in your umbrella or the kind that soaks all your clothes...even your underwear. i put a small clip of the rain yesterday that ...
