... apartment buildings were trying to look old and quaint. All the locals were middle aged couples with one small dog and an expensive car, either an Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, Maserati, BMW or Ferrari.

... the city was founded when a man cut the hand off the devil and threw it away and created the settlement of Antwerp. We thought about visiting the cathedral in Antwerp but it cost €5, bleh!! The other beautiful cathedrals we visited so far were free, so we decided we couldn't be bothered to pay. Nathalie said having to pay to see the cathedral was typical of the Antwerp ego.
