... front of us at traffic lights given a seconds hesitation!) The entrance was a couple of microns higher than our roof racks and the extreme steepness and curvature of the ramps with central bollards made yet another nightmare. As well as that we had to go right to the 7th floor to find a big enough space for the S-Max!
That done we launched off to find the other Beautiful People (henceforth to be known as BP) who were first ...

I skipped getting off the ship to visit Florence as memories of my blistered feet when I was there two years ago were still fresh. So, next stop Cannes. Tender boat to the port as the Epic too monstrous to dock there. Then I jumped on the little tourist train (I'm a sucker for these) for a spin around the town. Beautiful sunny day and Cannes is a lovely place. Flashy sports cars everywhere, beautiful grand old hotels each ...

That is where the photos I have attached here are from. It was really ...

... animals we had seen. This time we were not late, however we did get lost and we were with the guide - so it is not just us!!! The countryside was beautiful (as you would imagine) with vineyards and olive trees in abundance and of course green . The houses dotted around the countryside were stunning farmhouses in the whitewash terracotta mode. Returning to the ship we were subjected to rigorous screening and security checks but it was nice to be greeted with cold towels and ...

A full serving of Nice, with a side of Monaco.

... to old town and started walking around. Beautiful streets! We found
La Storia for breakfast. For pastries each and Simon got a coffee as
well. Well, a mini coffee! Ha! We walked along a string of
produce markets , cours saleya. Simon bought cherries and I bought
watermelon. Scrumptious and fresh . So much fresh produce before us.
Massive tomatoes, garlic, spices, mushrooms, meats and more! It went for
    ages!!
Then we moved on and explored old town. We walked ...
