    ... the hairdressers on ship charge an exorbitant amount - Bob's haircut cost $40)... Was a bit wary as had been told that Cannes was expensive...but surprised when told , shampoo, cut , colour and Blowdry would be €55... Cheaper than in Australia...

    Although it was an early start, the flight to Nice and subsequent bus trip to Cannes was fairly easy and uneventful. However, I mist remember next time to pay attention to the scheduled school holidays of different countries because Gatwick Airport was SO BUSY! I arrived in Cannes around 2pm.     ... We continued our walk along the promenade
    to the port side of nice. The riviera walk is quite lovely. The scenery
    is beyond beautiful. We came into the port and saw the grand boats and yachts. Wow. One day!!! We
    found a take away place, Le cafe du port, and got some chips to take
    away. Perfect spot for some hot chips!! And they were perfectly
    cooked!! After admiring the port some more we headed on our way back.

    ... been for part of his incarceration. Then we walked the Boulevarde de Croisette, which sounds more like something you might eat. It starts at the Casino, where we took our photos on the red carpet made famous by the Cannes Film Festival, all the celebrities have walked it.
