    ... Munich, the scenery in Austria was beautiful (would love to see it properly some day), trees changing colour for Autumn, huge mountains, vines & more vines, cattle grazing & all very green, was raining for part of the trip so photo's not so good, arrived in Munich around 4.30pm, booked into Hotel, easy walk across from station. Desperate for cup of tea, nothing in room so had to go down stairs & buy one, out for dinner a couple of doors ...

    ... Smith to The Grand Canal. We got lost trying to find our Hotel, and at one point I got moved up in a wedding party while Marshall got our bearings, but after 3 helpful people, we found it. Room is tiny, but has character, and is on one of the canals that the gondolas ride past. We have 4 windows in our room, and a nice sized bathroom, despite the shower curtain-less shower.     After an early morning bus ride from Zagreb to a port in Italy I was set to get on a boat to VENICE! I had always dreamed of visiting Venice and my dream was about to become a reality.
