      ... wanted to get home.

      After a two hour flight I finally got home and was able to see my family and finally post these entries. Overall my trip was amazing and I got to see fantastic views and building and met lovely people, I would rate this trip a 4 out of 5 stars, I would recommend this to anyone who was looking for a great educational and entertaining ...

      Waking up early to the baffling sound of tables scraping along wooden floors, we sleepily shuffled to the bathroom and woke up underneath an invigorating rainshower before heading to breakfast (I feel like all we do is post about breakfast but seriously, there is going to be some rude adjustment once we get back home and realise that there isn't a selection of cheeses and pastries waiting for us every morning).

      ... courtyards, random streets and churches that, though not on the map, were all very pretty. After a gorgeous sunset I spent a few hours admiring the city in the dark, much of it even prettier when lit up. Sadly I was able to take just one picture of St Mark’s square before my camera decided it had had enough Venice for the day and ran out of battery.       ... just switch off. Finally we enter a beautiful gate and climb a few steps to the cloisters. The garden is beautiful and there are cats everywhere.
