      ... penny on it, but were not disappointed. Alessandro was our enthusiastic guide. We drove west from Bologna to Modena county and explored the holy trinity. No, not a church! We've seen enough of those. I'm talking cheese, vinegar, and cured meat here.

      Ferrari Museum

      ... are not sure we would have enjoyed working for him but there was no doubt about his passion and dedication to the cars and racing.

      Aside from the display hall there was the original workshop of Ferrari that contained a replica of the first official car built, some influences from Enzo's early career and about half a dozen other Ferraris.

      It was a little disappointing to see so few Ferraris but this museum is about the life of Enzo.

      Another fine breakfast. Scrambled egg juice to ea good bread and salad Tram to Centrale stn (1.50) then Frecciarossa high speed train to Bologna. 40€ plus 3.50booking fee. Great train - smooth and stable at 280kph. 1 hr trip. Very flat farmland with old brick 2 story farmhouses. Mainly veg and grapes and couple chook/pig sheds. Lost way around station looking for hotel which transpired was only 400m along same ...
