It was hot and humid so we slept in and started the day slowly. Following breakfast in the hotel we chatted with Ben and Georgia via Skype for half an hour before venturing out into the midday sun. We caught the train from Bologna to Rimini for the day. We were met by Federica Farnetti, from the University of Bologna, who John had met on a work trip to the area in 2013. We endured a rather...ummm...."basic" night at a camp just out of Maranello last night.
Since we had left Venezia and we're heading south, apparently, I thought, bugger it -it's so close to Maranello and Modena I'd be mad not to call in and say hello to Ferrari whilst I was in the area.
