Here are pictures from my trip into the mountains to help set up for an exhibition! This is the city where 4 years ago there was a massive earthquake and destroyed many of the old buildings. They are still rebuilding with many streets blocked off. After the art exhibition, Antonio and his brother and I walked around; we found a concert with string instruments in a church, and listened to a famous Italian artist tribute concert.

... the mountains in the other. The most important monuments in Atri includes the 13th century Duomo - the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. We walked around this because town and looked at churches and beautiful vistas. Then it was time to head back to Rome. Sadly, we hopped back on the bus. On the way back, there was one stop in L'Aquila. This is another medieval town that was destroyed in a 2009 earthquake.
