... port. It was clearly marked with the NCL Jade and we marched in. Inside the terminal we were quickly herded into the on board process of checking our passports, getting our key cards and going through security. We had planned to drop our bags and return back to Venice to tour some more. Unfortunately they had our passports so I thought it best to get them back, so I asked security and reluctantly they returned them to me only to send me to the "polizia." He was pretty scary looking ...

... waiting for! My hospital roomies were quite a joy... 3 old ladies in diapers... I felt really out of Place. This was the first time I've been surrounded by people all speaking Italian, which as a very weird experience. I tried to smile at the lady lying across from me but she just stared at me constantly. ... the tour guide, yep you got it, it was another Andre. We quite enjoyed the walking tour as it gave us some extra insights of Venetian history. One interesting thing we saw was the "birthplace of Marco Polo". It seems there is a bit of a debate as to where he was from with the Venetians claiming he was born in Venice and the Croatians claiming he was born in Croatia, It seems to me that not knowing anything about Marco Polo it makes sense that he was a Venetian, due to the fact ...

... the streets. I know it's off season, but we were expecting some amenities! Once we got to the hotel, it took the reception staff a while to check us in, as I'm convinced they weren't expecting us. We finally got our key and after dragging our bags up the flight of stairs, we found ourselves in a delightful family room - with a double bed and a set of bunk beds!
We had a good laugh and I was getting ...
