After we had unpacked, we took her advice and wandered. We enjoyed watching the various watercraft on the canal; police launch, mail delivery, tiler with his tiles and grouting, gondolas with Chinese tourists and lovers! There was also a fruit and vegetable stall working from a moored boat. We walked past a Leonardo da Vinci exhibit and may go back to visit if we have time. We also walked into a church - not sure ...
We were in Venice and no internet point that we could find so we are now catching up.
First class on the fast train to Venice - wow!!
