    Last day in Luzern

A travel blog entry by bkmuir on Sep 03, 2014

... is the great European stair adventure. A short walk around the wall and then off to see the Lion monument. It was unbelievable. So emotional and beautiful. Then more walking around and over Luzern's historical bridges. The Mill bridge and chapel bridge. Fantastic history. A lot of photo taking and a walk through the local craft markets. Yesterday it was the fresh produce markets on the opposite side of the ...

... can't say Europeans have been my favourite. They don't seem to understand personal space, or waiting your turn or not blowing carcinogens into your face. I'm sure this nightmare, who loudly sucks his teeth throughout the remainder of this journey, still has no idea what my problem was. He's that thick. The rest of the journey is pretty uneventful. ... Everyone is so relaxed here, such a world apart from Paris where the sounds of car horns i think are still ringing in my ears! The houses surrounding the lake are gorgeous with the ones directly on the water all having little pool houses that are either directly above or right next to their boat houses. Whilst up the hill each house has a lovely view of the lake but if you want to build anything here don't bother without ...

... had built on the exact site outside the city where Protestants had been forced to go outside the ancient wall for their worship! The Hong Kong regional report was of great interest because I grew up there and David To did not disappoint. 7 million people in 1,100 square kilometers!! Christian schools are fully funded and so thrive - David's school has over 1000, with classes of 40-45. Of 400 secondary schools, only about 20 have all  Christian teachers. The powerful influences ...
