... When i decided to halt at Gujarat, Surat was the place as I could also meet a friend of mine. So from Mumbai, I reached Surat at 1:30pm. My friend picked me up from the station and I went with him to his house. There I met some nice people and had a good time.

... running on a tight budget and a tighter schedule, we had to make our journey cheap and spend less time travelling. So we got in a 20 hour long train journey that takes us through all the hotter cities like Ahmedabad, Jaipur and finally reaches New Delhi. Thanks to the local ticketing agent we managed to get an AC train ticket (of course after paying a hefty commission). The morning tea ...

... the new bride - she now belongs to his family. I was kindly bought two wedding outfits by dips family so I felt very much involved and enjoyed the whole experience (check out the pictures). I certainly gained a lot of knowledge about the culture and religious beliefs and witnessed a real community feel of togetherness with people all pulling together and helping out to make sure this Indian wedding was one to remember!! ...
