... built in 1060 with materils from the original 5th Century construction. Our next stop was the village of Baume-les-Messieurs. It was down in a box canyon and included an imperial abbey. ... riders were from the pre1950's, exhaust pipes, when attached, belching smoke and oil in equal proportions. Had a walk round the town and then went into the tourist centre where a lovely lady told us all about the area and gave us lots of pamphlets. With it bucketing down with rain we headed for Pareid where we we're staying for the night. Well we did say we wanted countryside and this place certainly is that! ...
