... the afternoon at the botanical gardens and the river safari at the zoo. In researching our European adventure, I borrowed a highly informative book called 'Europe by Eurail' from Wellington library which suggested the town of Plzen, around an hour and half’s train journey from Prague as a place one could visit for the day.
