the Brewery Museum in the city centre. A few beers later and a walk through the

The main, and really only reason for our visit to Pilsen (or Plzen) was … you guessed it …. for beer!!! Apart from the beer, Pilsen has a nice old town, and is the European Capital of Culture for 2015. It is also on the Lonely Planet’s top 10 places to visit in Europe for 2014, so it has to
have something going for it!!!

There is a nice main square (Republic Square) which has the obligatory big old church, ...

... had to eat first. We found a little pub and popped in, the weather was becoming fierce outside; wind, and very dark skies.

What a wonderful surprise; the restaurant served gluten free food, nearly everything on the menu could be made gluten free. This had been a problem in Prague, there were very few selections so this was so very welcome. ... be attended by some Bromley bigwigs...I've been invited to stay (she runs a guest house....;-)). being as you can't get near the *******s in the UK I might just turn up to tell them what I think about the Bromley council services....whats the worst that can happen...
So Sinsheim, it has a quire famous Technik museum, think cars and aircraft. Lots of cars and not too ...

... Needless to say we decided to have a last Czech lunch before realizing we were in a Spanish restaurant. We had to use a card but the tip took care of some of our cash however. The meal was very good although I do prefer my duck pink. The couple on the next table got through a bottle of water, two bottles of wine and one of champagne.
