... story book. It all looks to amazing to be real. We found out that only 30% of all Swiss are actually born in Sweden. Sweden is very much multicultural, I’m surprised by how many nationalities you can see. We are now having to watch the traffic lights when we cross the street.

The glass factory was open on weekdays so no problem with getting in today. A walking exhibit told us all about the history of this art and the factory itself. The lady gave strict instructions that the children were not allowed to touch anything and other than Corbin fingering a small boat we did very well. ... some point that it would be interesting to have a living chess match and wahlah, the tradition was born. Every other year on even years, all the pageantry and costume of a live chess match takes place in September. This event would be fantastic to see live - maybe some day.

Like a kid in a candy store, I scooped up an armful of them before stopping to consider that they would belong to an ill-fated collection that's neither mine nor Matthew's but 'ours' in an 'us' that no longer exists. With a heavy heart but certain hand, I put each and every one back on the shelf with a sad acceptance that the snow has settled on that collection.
