Our last day of riding

We were making our way down the mountain when we arrived at a road block and detour – sign posting was not the greatest for the detour so after a little while looking at the map and feeling totally lost and confused we noticed quite a large line of cars with all the drivers looking as lost as us, in the end we all went the one direction and after passing through some small villages we got back on the motorway and all was good, the snow had also disappeared.

Davos
... and very soon we were taking off layers to keep cool. We gained elevation quickly and once we broke through the tree line, it was a really beautiful view over the town of Davos and the surrounding mountains. The fall colours near the peak were really gorgeous, especially all the wild blueberry bushes that were a deep red-orange hue, providing a stark contrast to the evergreens and brown grass. We both had a fairly interrupted sleep, mostly due to Rhys blowing his nose. However this did mean we could have a lazy morning! The beds are comfier in Austria...so far
... the castle. We were informed you could only go inside the castle for a look on a tour and the next English tour was in 2hrs time so we just walked up to the castle and wandered around. Unfortunately they were doing some work on the back and had scaffolding on some of the steeples and the back wall.
