This morning we weren't all that unhappy to leave the sheridan arabella in munich as we weren't wearing the correct clothing, black cloth and head gear. Today was our one and only day in Austria. We didn't have to be at breakfast until 8am so we got to sleep in. But of course I got up at 6am and went on a run around Seefeld(aka the town I'm staying in). Our first stop today was Wilten Basilica. It was beautiful! Next we went to the historic Winter Olympic Games site. We got to see where the ski jumping events took place. We had free time in Innsbruck to walk around and shop. ... to catch our train to Munich! The rain kindly held off for us during our trip up the alps, but it promptly returned in the afternoon (rain really is the theme of our trip, that and historic building restorations - nothing like seeing an ancient building with scaffolding in front it!)
