... the station was this humungous Gothic Cathedral. The Cologne Cathedral. It’s a 144.5m long by 86.5m wide and 157m tall Catholic Church that was built in 1248 and it’s a world heritage site. It was a pretty magnificent building. Our necks are still a bit sore from looking up at it! It’s supposed to be the largest Gothic Church in Northern Europe and we were glad we stopped in and saw that, definitely made a good break from the train. ...
