    In the Land of Schnitzel

... bad. I am REALLY stiff from all that sitting though, and sitting seems to be the plan from now until we arrive in Lyon. I am going to love finally getting out, breathing some fresh air, and walking around the city. I was planning to get Euro at an ATM and maybe get some food, but the machine ate someone's card so I got paranoid and changed my mind. Highlights for me were Gornergrat, Sion, Mt Pilatus, the Rhine boat trip , Eiffel Tower, the Pont Du Gard, old town of Uzes, the TGV, the autobahns, lake Como, lake Leman, ...

We had a three hour layover at the Frankfurt airport and it turned out to be perfect because what I've heard is true...the Frankfurt airport is huge!
Whenever I fly I always try to have a window seat. I am more than willing to sacrifice the convenience of an aisle ...

... Stephen - I've decided I really do enjoy travelling with the toys!

We had a wee hick-up at the airport. We obviously missed the sign for the city centre train and ended up walking for ages until we got to an information desk where we were told to go back the way we had come, and downstairs to the S train on platform one. We negotiated the buying of the tickets without a problem but were worried that we were on the wrong train, and how we would know when to ...
