Wounded soldiers today so the planned ride to Trebic has been axed and we have decided to have a restful day, do a few jobs and start preparing for the Danube cruise. The majority of the food is obviously sourced locally and so what you purchase can still be guess work but hopefully the coleslaw won't have herring in it this time.! Also the lady in the familiar red Tesco tee shirt was not very interested or helpful when I showed her a kinder egg and tried to explain by flapping my arms like a chicken that I was looking for real ...
We love this resort so much that we decided to stay another day and night. The photos of Pocatky were taken from a 16th. century bell tower. We were inside at 12 noon but the bells didn't ring. Thank goodness.

We could hardly believe it when we stepped off the train at KUJ - there was only the train station, 6 dusty gravel platforms and a waiting room (60's design with formica tables) and that was it. No food, no town in sight, we were wondering if our journey to Telc was to the end of the Czech Republic.
