For some reason, pigs are a symbol of good luck in the new year and pink piggy hats are a popular item at the souvenir stands. Of course, warm punsch is also available.       Today we visited another medieval town called Ceske Budejovice. Walked around the town admiring the old buildings, In the square there were more Christmas markets, even a horse merry go round with real horses. With all the different foods on display it was hard not the get hungry, had a traditional big potato fritter served extra crispy.
      Got back on the road heading over to Holasovice. Found our selves surrounded by loads of fog, spoiling the country side view! ...
