... t see hardly where you were going. Plus very uneven ground& must have been the original underground cave. Not my cup of tea but worth it for the experience. So glad we live in Australia as these people behind the "Iron Curtain" had a hell of a time just to live until there independence in the 1990's. A very touristy place with every second shop for the " tourist" whether it be souvenirs or food. Perhaps more so here than in ...

Today we had a cruisie morning. Woke at 8:30 (needed the rest), breakfasted, watched some Greys Anatomy, checked out. Then we mozzied around the village of Cesky Krumlov. Today we visited another medieval town called Ceske Budejovice. Walked around the town admiring the old buildings, In the square there were more Christmas markets, even a horse merry go round with real horses. With all the different foods on display it was hard not the get hungry, had a traditional big potato fritter served extra crispy.
Got back on the road heading over to Holasovice. Found our selves surrounded by loads of fog, spoiling the country side view! ...

... their table set for dinner, and we had a nice dinner (though we had to throw out the white wine that salko had given us in Mostar because it had started to smell like rubbing alcohol. Sorry Salko. After that, we sent Colin a quick message, hoping to meet up the next day but having not a clue what time of day that would be without a time or a place so we ended up just going to bed and decided we would just head into town the next day and play it by ...

... the town. We kayaked 16 KM in total including 4 big rapids that you have to cross by going into concrete "chutes". (Jen 3, Rapids 1) In hindsight, an inflatable raft might have been easier but less cool! I took some cool pictures of the rapids too.

We just spent our last 100 crowns (about $5) at the Mini-Mart and got 3 large beer, 1 bag of chips and a big chocolate bar. Super-score!
