... firmly but nicely we were in Czechoslovakia so the Czech way was with bread and their sausages were nicer and cheaper!! Today we visited another medieval town called Ceske Budejovice. Walked around the town admiring the old buildings, In the square there were more Christmas markets, even a horse merry go round with real horses. With all the different foods on display it was hard not the get hungry, had a traditional big potato fritter served extra crispy.
Got back on the road heading over to Holasovice. Found our selves surrounded by loads of fog, spoiling the country side view! ...

... 6 a person. So naturally, all three of us ordered some variation of the feast. I got rabbit. I had never had rabbit before. But it was tasty. It was sort of like dark turkey meat, but both chewier and more tender. And I was served about half of a rabbit - I had the ribs and one of the legs. It's odd to think that that was once part of a small creature...and now it's in my belly :)
