... Can't see much from this hotel, but tomorrow we shall Romeo and Juliet to our hearts content.

Epilogue: Connor was just watching tv and there on the screen, coming to us live from Milan, is a huge open air rock concert. Right in front of the Duomo. Very early start to our holiday with a 330am departure for the airport for the first flight out at 6am however a super quick trip to Mascot was one advantage. All aboard, ready to leave, but then delayed by something you do not expect in Sydney- ice on the wings! You would think someone could find a scraper or hose or something but no- we had to wait for an hour and a quarter till the sun came ...

... roads which resulted in high stress for Nic. Even in cloudy weather, there were beautiful views. We drove to Belagio - another Clooney reference and nice to see other tourists, even if they were mostly Yanks. It was a pretty town on the top of the headland and had views up and down Lake Como. We also kept seeing a seaplane flying around the lake which would have been amazing to go in, if it wasn't hazy and grey. Another time maybe!

    From there, we ...
