... man with a brown bag over his shoulder ran along the deck chasing a hat that blew away from him. We turned west and for a while Corsica was to the north and Sardinia was to the south. We were sailing from the Tyrrhenian Sea into the Balearic Sea. We were heading to Barcelona. All we had to do was be moved farther on. We walked around the deck, sitting in hot sun in the lee and being blown around ...

    Sunday 2 August
We moved back to the anchorage near Mao. Being a Sunday it was extremely crowded, luckily most were day trippers so by the end of the evening there was decent space between the boats.

Cala Reale is in the central part of the island. In the Northern part you can reach Cala d'Oliva and in the Southern part you can reach Fornelli.
After walking around in Cala Reale we took a bus (the bus runs during the summer to link the 3 main parts of the island) to get to the Northern part of the island. We passed Cala ...

My flight from Dublin arrived in Alghero at 2 pm.
I went straight to the beach! I really missed the sun and the Sardinian sea!!!
I love my land and I love Alghero. Alghero is always Alghero, 'cause it has the beaches, and what beaches! And also, it has some movida at night, and nice shops, restaurant and bars...
Alghero has a soul that catches you, wherever you come ...
