... kind man by the name of Elio ran the place, and when he wasn't bonking the cleaner, he was not at the B&amp;B at all and was therefore unavailable to help. Luckily enough, when we arrived he was bonking the cleaner. So after five or ten minutes frantic knocking on his door, he opened his front door (hiding behind a curtain) and checked us in. I leave them finally, dash for the bus, discover I read the wrong timetable and am 30 minutes ahead , order ice cream and sit it out in the hot sunshine.... I wedge myself into the same spot on the airport bus as it again fills to over capacity ...my last glimpses of Sardinia through the bus window are fields of yellow sunflowers...big happy flowers ...a fitting symbol of this lovely island....

... de fietsjes aan wal en gaan we op zoek naar Bosa zelf dat eigenlijk een middeleeuwse oude stad is. Als we ons lopend naar het kasteel begeven, hebben we een prachtig uitzicht over de Fiume Temo en de oude stad. Het kasteel blijkt afgesloten te zijn en de stad staat tot onze beschikking. ... wennen we aan de nachtelijke omgeving en hebben steeds minder moeite met het weinige licht. De sterrenhemel is fascinerend vooral als er van tijd tot tijd lichtflitsen zich aftekenen van vallende meteorieten. Aan onze bakboordzijde is een duidelijk t groen navigatielicht te zien. We gebruiken dit licht tevens als groen referentie licht voor de navigatie verlichting van de grote scheepsvaart die ver in de omtrek af en toe te zien is. Gelukkig zijn er weinig schepen ...
