    ... Our driver spotted the elusive 3-Toed Sloth at the top of a tree. He pulled over to let us get out of the mini-bus and get a closer look. For the wildlife enthusiasts in our group, the sloth spotting will be a highlight of their trip. It is kind of funny that they didn’t see a sloth on either of the guided nature hikes they did in Monte Verde, but then saw one on the side of a highway just outside the capital city.

    ... our party hats and entered the crowded dance floor. We counted down the last few moments of 2013 en espanol, threw confetti wildly, danced, kissed and happily welcomed the Aņo Nuevo.
