      I. am. back! The last couple months in Sant Antoni have been rough for me as I craved busy streets, social life (I'm even surprised at that!), and new things to see. This week I moved 95% of my stuff to a new apartment, which I will sort of share with another girl until the middle of June. She will be gone for most of it, which is good since its a small one bedroom apartment, but already I feel so much better in my life.

I felt a little out of place when communion happened, but was happy to see others that stayed in their seats as well. It was actually a very quick service. In and out within an hour! This brings me back to that song. After days like yesterday, ...

There continue to be days where I wonder what possessed me to accept this placement in Ibiza of assisting with the teaching of English to high schoolers. This placement on an island that nearly completely shuts down after September. On this island where I am daily among those who speak not only Spanish (Castellano), but also Catalán, those who speak little English and various other languages of the world. In a climate where outside you will be warm in the sun and chilled ...

... into a basket and press out the oil with a large wooden shaft. I don't even know how to explain it, but it was so cool to see the steps and the fact that they take pride in carrying on the tradition by hosting the festival every year.
The dancing.. I was told about the dancing when I first mentioned that I was interested in taking Flamenco lessons and some of my students do the dance (the shorter videos are actually two of my students). It was so cool to be a part ...
