    ... br> Our first trip was to one of the many thermal hot baths and they were amazing. We relaxed a little along with thousands of others! Our first meal was one of the best we have had on our trip so far, we always go traditional and we certainly weren't disappointed.

    We used the bus to see some amazing sites, one of these was 'The Buda Castle Hill and Castle Quarters', spectacular views and buildings ...

    ... but pretty much unheard of for Mikey. We spent a lot of time vegging, drinking cheap beer or wine, and had home cooked meals at least 3 or 4 nights. Hungarian food is quite heavy and not the most gourmet, and we were only a few blocks from the big Central market, so we were able to stock up on some fresh ingredients and had a few salads, which were delish.

    ... are plaques baring their names.

    Further outisde is a memorial tree honoring those Hungarians that perished during the Holocaust. It is a remarkable metal tree with leaves that are dedicated to those lost. Many Americans like Estee Lauder and Tony Curtis gave large amounts of money for this.

    Next we went to the Jewish Museum and saw some items from the heritage of the Jewish people, some of which are below in our pictures.

    ... went and bought a Vienna Pass for 24 hours (best public transport system in the world in my view) and headed to the Kunsthistoriche Museum. We looked at the Rembrandts and the Bruegels, saw a magnificent work by Klimt and Denise was intrigued by the special exhibition for Augustus and Charlemagne.
