British Virgin Islands Sushi

... I am unable to comment on the quality of the sushi itself because the whole experience was completely soured by the offensive and obnoxious host/owner, a Scot called Alan. Honestly, this man needs a crash course in customer service - he is downright rude, and unless somebody can give me a very, very good reason to make a return visit, I shall not! It's a real shame because I believe he could have made a really good go of it.

The house opens up on one side to a large covered deck and dining patio, which are more covered outdoor extensions of the living and dining rooms. Tortola - The "Baths" Virgin Gorda

... The ferry boat dropped everyone off right next to our Caribbean Princess at 4:50pm.

As the ship left the port at 5:00pm that afternoon, I was on my Mini Suite's balcony waving goodbye to the island. Tortola and the BVI's are beautiful small islands where I had a wonderful time and was able to see one of of nature's wonders. It is an island where I would definitely come back in the future.

Thankful for nature's wonders,

Mo

... of our eyes. Wow! In the distance, Magens Bay, which is rated by the National Geographic Society as being one of the top 10 beaches in the world could be seen. It was paradise! Deep blue Sapphire water, white sandy beaches, you name it...it was a beautiful site. Our First Visit to Paradise

... would come here to bathe in the warm waters a century or more ago. We took plenty of pictures and explored until it was time to go. Next stop was Spanishtown a couple of miles up. We took a mooring there and went to shore to explore. What a quaint little town it was with numerous shops and a couple of restaurants. Next morning we proceeded over to Gorda Sound where we exoplored the famous Bitter End Yach Club and other resorts. After an overnight stay we ...

... pleased to find it. I tell the story of the Frenchies, my buddy, and the evil Saturn. I'm hilarious. A couple from New Jersey join in. We start discussing the difference between domestic fairy and French fairy. The newlyweds ask how to consume it. I explain. A crowd gathers. Everyone is fascinated. We break the seal on the bottle. Water, sugar, fairy and fire. I'm a rock star. Scooby Doo is chilling with me in my room. Join me.

Virgin Arrival

... drive is so steep that only a 4 wheel drive can get up and down! All of the cars are left hand drive, like in America, but they drive on the same side of the road as in England. The villa where we are staying is built into the hillside and the view over Road Town, the islands capital, is amazing. You can watch the cruise ships dock, and when Squeak goes sailing she phones up so we can watch her sail off into Sir Francis Drake Channel.

In the US Virgin Islands

... arrived in New York just at 9 am when we were suppose to leave on the next flight at 9 am! They were holding the plane for us and so we were rushed straight from one to the next and then up we went again. As always, the boys were great travelers. They seem to have that routine down pat. They really liked the new rolling carry-on bags instead of the backpacks. Was just much easier. The worse part of the whole trip was that I got laryngitis on the way down and so by time ...
