... into the old town - so was easy to find. The room was large and comfortable and the hotel had everything one could require - bar, restaurant. After checking in we went into the old town to explore.

The old town has little cobbled streets that wind around with only limited parking in narrow alleyways, but we found a small parking area and were lucky that a park had just been vacated - needless to say we were 'in like ...

... easy but we spent lot of time walking on a road! we prefer the pilgrimage by walking on footpaths... since that day we hate walking on roads!

Navarrete is a small village with a charming refuge and all the services u may need (supermarkets, ATM...)

Another easy but long stage... A few kms away from Estella we began to see Logroņo, it seems to was so close, but Not!
I recommend the people who is going to do this stage to take a break in Viana, a beautiful village with an incredible church and city hall.

The main refuge in Logroņo is too small, so if u'r going to be late, u better look forward another refuge or hostel.

This stage has no difficulties, the landscapes begin to change, we left the woods behind us and we begin to see beatiful fields til we reach our destination.

In Los Arcos I don't recommend the main refuge... when we were there we saw lots of bugs, an unpleasant smell, a small kitchen... the village is not very impressive but the main church (worth to see)

Well, the week has come to an end! There has been laughter, excitement, good food, great conversation, amzing weather (you should see my tan!)and even a scandal! Last night was the party, which started by making paella for dinner. Some of the Spaniards thought it was strange, because usually you would eat it for lunch, and maybe on the beach. They also thought it was funny that many of the Anglos were taking pics of the process, but for us it is not something you see every day! A while back I heard from a friend about this program in Spain called Pueblo Ingles. Basically, it is designed for Spanish people who are learning English as an immersion retreat to practice hearing and speaking English. So they take about 20 Spaniards and 20 native English speakers or "Anglos" and put them together for a week in a remote location in Spain and let them talk each others ear off!
