... It's possible to live very comfortably here on the island on $300.00 US per month.
The climate is incomparable with an average temperature of 26 Celcius and the sun shines 340 days of the year. I'm where I'm supposed to be.....this much I know!
The pictures are of the sunrise from the penthouse condo where I'm staying temporarily. Does it get more ...

... It seemed rude not to as Margarita is so named for its pearls and has been described as the jewel of the Caribbean. Mind you I think all the islands are claiming that title.

until pursued by some salesboy from a nearby establishment – don’t they realise
this sort of behaviour is only going to persuade me never to go!

Had a swim & found a convenient palm tree to dry off

and tone really winds me up – they won’ take “no” for an answer and it just
ruins the atmosphere and my enjoyment.

Splashed out $4 on a good healthy fish dinner, seeing all
the fishing boats in the bay and the adjacent fish market reassures you it’s
likely to be good and fresh.

... being enough punters, that I would be
sad, so, as the beach here is probably as nice (though maybe more windy) as the
ones there, decided not to bother.

Checked out the not so supermarket that opens on a Monday –
didn’t even sell coffee!!!! But the beer was 3 for a dollar, so who cares about
      the coffee!

The water was lovely and not too lumpy, despite the wind,
for swimming. Strolling from the hotel along the beach was more challenging as
